3. Eagle Nebula http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap020611.html I worked from the expanded image of this nebula in the huge book "Cosmos" by Dave Sobel + Giles Sparrow. The NSAS image is in reverse from the book image I used for inspiration. If you look at this NASA image upside down a face seems to be on the right, as I defined further here. The book image shows these billows of cloudlike "stardust" as shown here. I just defined the face more in the painting.
